Yes. We work on both residential and commercial septic systems. If you're outside our usual service area, call or text to confirm availability.
Yes. In many cases we can provide pricing guidance by phone after a few quick questions. If your project requires a site visit or a design, we'll explain what's needed and why.
For repairs: Have your address, county, symptoms (like alarms or odors), and system type ready. For installs: Share your address, county, bedrooms, square footage, and if you have a design. For maintenance: Provide your address, county, system type, and if you need a new contract.
Once permits and design are approved and the job is scheduled, most installs and replacements take about 1–3 days once started, depending on site conditions and county scheduling.
Yes, in most cases. Replacing a septic system in Texas typically requires an OSSF permit through your county. Requirements can vary and we'll walk you through what applies to your property and handle the coordination and paperwork. Notarization is required for county affidavits.
Costs depend on your property, soil, system type, and county rules. Aerobic systems usually cost more than conventional systems. We’ll give you honest pricing over the phone after a few quick questions. If a site visit or design is needed, we’ll let you know upfront.
We install systems appropriate for your property and county requirements, including aerobic, conventional, and drip systems. We'll explain your options and recommend what fits your site and long-term goals.
Get us involved early in site planning. We’ll coordinate your septic design with your layout, soil, and county rules to avoid delays.
Yes. Aerobic and drip systems require regular maintenance and reporting under Texas regulations. Conventional systems generally don't — they don't have the same mechanical components that need ongoing inspections. If you're not sure what your system requires, call or text and we'll walk you through it.
Most aerobic systems require three service visits per year under Texas regulations. Each visit includes inspection of pumps, aerators, controls, and alarms, plus any required reporting to your local authority. The exact schedule depends on your permit and county requirements.
Without regular maintenance, aerobic systems can fail — leading to alarms, odors, wet spots, and potential permit violations. In Texas, an unmaintained aerobic system can result in notices from your county and costly emergency repairs. A maintenance contract keeps your system running and your required reporting current.
Yes. For new aerobic systems we install, Cast Environmental Services includes two years of routine maintenance and required reporting at no additional charge. After that, we offer ongoing maintenance contracts if you'd like us to keep taking care of the system.
Look for alarms, odors, wet spots, slow drains, or backups. If your system is aging, we’ll help you decide if a repair or replacement is the smarter choice.
Yes. We can coordinate required paperwork and keep you updated on next steps. Notarization is required for all county affidavits.
Yes. We regularly coordinate with builders, designers, and project managers to keep septic planning in step with construction timelines, site layout, and county requirements. Bringing us in early usually makes the rest of the project smoother for everyone.
We don't provide pumping services. If pumping is needed as part of a repair, replacement, or new install, we can recommend a local pumping company.
We'll set up a time that works, come out to the property, find and uncover the system, and run a few simple checks to see how it's working. After the visit, you'll get a clear, plain-language summary of what we saw. If we find anything you should know about, we'll explain what it means for the sale and what the likely repair options and costs look like.
